The Victron Phoenix Inverter 48/800 (VE.Direct) is a pure sine wave inverter for 48V systems, built to start demanding loads and run reliably in continuous use — suited to boats, 4WDs, and off-grid systems.
Key features
- Proven reliability — the full-bridge, toroidal-transformer design is short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether from overload or high ambient temperature.
- High start-up power — enough surge capacity to start loads like power tools or transformer-based lighting.
- ECO mode — drops to standby when the load falls below a preset level, then checks every few seconds (adjustable) to see if it should switch back on.
- Remote on/off — wire a remote switch to the two-pole connector, or between battery positive and the connector's left-hand contact.
- VE.Direct communication port — connect to a computer (via VE.Direct to USB cable) or a phone/tablet (via VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle) to configure and monitor: low battery voltage alarm/cut-off/restart levels, dynamic (load-dependent) cut-off, output voltage (210–245V), frequency (50Hz or 60Hz), ECO mode, and live in/output voltage, load and alarms.
