The BMV-712 Smart is a Bluetooth-enabled battery monitor that tracks voltage, current, power, ampere-hours consumed and state of charge, giving an accurate picture of what's really left in the battery bank.
Key features
- Bluetooth built-in — monitor live data, view history and change settings from a smartphone or tablet via the VictronConnect app, no wiring to a display needed.
- Easy install — all connections run to the quick-connect PCB on the shunt, which links to the monitor with a standard RJ12 cable. Includes a 10m RJ12 cable and a 2m fused battery cable, plus front bezels for round or square mounting.
- Midpoint voltage monitoring — flags a weak cell or battery early in a series-connected bank, before it damages the rest of the pack.
- Very low current draw — 0.7Ah per month (1mA) at 12V, or 0.6Ah per month (0.8mA) at 24V, important for lithium batteries that have little capacity left once past low-voltage shutdown.
- Programmable relay and alarms — trigger a warning or switch off non-critical loads (or start a generator) based on battery state.
