Every Battery – Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Scope and Application

This Shipping & Delivery Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Sale for Every Battery Pty Ltd (“Every Battery”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By placing an order with Every Battery, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.

2. Delivery Areas and Timeframes

  • Every Battery has successfully delivered over 100,000 batteries across Australia.

  • We offer same business day or next business day delivery for most car batteries in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Hobart, Launceston, and the Gold Coast/Brisbane metropolitan areas.

  • Delivery services operate Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays.

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.

If you require urgent delivery or are outside the above metro areas, please contact us on 1300 123 228 prior to placing your order to confirm options.

3. Contact Information and Delivery Instructions

  • You must provide a valid contact phone number for courier deliveries; drivers will not dispatch without this information.

  • Unless otherwise specified by you in writing at the time of order, all deliveries will be shipped with ‘Authority to Leave’ at the nominated address.

  • If you require goods to be left in a particular location, this must be specified in your order notes.

4. Regional and Remote Deliveries

  • Freight times to regional, rural, and remote areas cannot be guaranteed.

  • Deliveries to caravan parks are possible, but delays may occur. If you have a fixed travel schedule, you must contact us prior to ordering to ensure delivery can be arranged.

5. Shipping Costs and Additional Charges

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and may vary depending on product size, weight, and location.

  • Many small items ship free Australia-wide.

  • Heavy and/or dangerous goods may incur an additional fee, although these may be waived in certain metro areas.

  • If additional fees apply to your order, we will contact you prior to dispatch to discuss your options.

6. Dangerous Goods Classification

  • Lead-acid batteries and lithium batteries are classified as Dangerous Goods under Australian transport regulations.

  • Delivery of these items is never guaranteed within a specific timeframe.

  • By placing an order for Dangerous Goods, you expressly acknowledge and accept these delivery conditions.

7. Order Processing and Confirmation

  • You will receive an email confirmation upon placing your order. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking your spam/junk folders.

  • We aim to process and dispatch orders on the same business day where possible, or the next business day for later orders.

  • Exceptions apply for oversized items, complex orders, or special-order products outside our core range.

8. Delivery Methods and Restrictions

  • Most orders are dispatched via Australia Post or a courier service (e.g., Border Express).

  • Small items may be delivered directly to your mailbox without a signature.

  • Some Dangerous Goods cannot be delivered to parcel lockers or certain restricted locations.

  • Delivery to depots and regional post offices is available where permitted by freight regulations.

9. Cancellations After Dispatch

  • Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation requests will be considered on a best-efforts basis only. We cannot guarantee that delivery will be stopped.

  • If delivery has been dispatched and you choose to cancel or refuse the order, you will be liable for all return freight costs.

  • Every Battery can arrange the return freight on your behalf. In this case, the cost of return freight will be deducted from your refund.

  • Refunds will only be processed once the goods are returned in original, saleable condition.

10. Acceptance of Policy

By placing an order with Every Battery, you:

  1. Confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Shipping & Delivery Policy.

  2. Agree that delivery timeframes are indicative only and not contractually binding.

  3. Accept that Dangerous Goods deliveries may be delayed and no guarantee of specific delivery dates is provided.
