36 Month Warranty for Private use (Normal Deep Cycle applications).
This battery is covered by the Manufacturers normal 12 Month Replacement Warranty. Every Battery Pty Ltd extends this warranty to 36 Months in total (on a pro-rata basis) to cover all failures due to faulty manufacture, materials or workmanship.
For example if the battery failed at 24 months then you would have 12 months unexpired on the 36 month warranty. In this case you would receive a credit of 33.3% (i.e. 12/36 months) of the original amount you paid towards the cost of a replacement battery. Failure at 30 months would provide a credit of 16.7% (i.e. 6/36 months unexpired warranty) and so on.
The warranty requires the battery to have been properly charged and maintained during service. Over-discharging the battery or leaving it flat will void the warranty, so we would recommend using a low voltage cut-out if your fridge or other appliances do not have one fitted. We can provide low voltage protection devices if required and would be happy to discuss proper care and maintenance of your battery to ensure an extended lifespan. You should use a good quality battery charger to charge the battery, or some other form of approved charging system (e.g. a Solar Regulator).
If you think your battery may need replacement under warranty then please contact us first so we can help to trouble-shoot the issue over the phone, as often the fault can lie with other components in the system. If you wish to return the battery for testing then this will be at your cost unless the battery was damaged upon delivery and you notified us at the time. We will test the battery as per the manufacturers warranty instructions and if found to be faulty we will pay the cost of sending the replacement battery to you, after payment of any applicable pro-rata charges.
