Car Battery Fitting Service: In-Store or Melbourne Metro Area
Fitting is an option you can choose when you order. We can fit In-Store, or at your home / business if you choose the delivery option in the Melbourne Metro Area only. Other deliveries are DIY fitting-only.
- Fitting includes a test of your charging system & and removal of the old battery for recycling.
- The $15 fee is for a Standard fit only - we must be able to gain access to the battery easily, and be able to remove it within a few minutes. Jobs which require dismantling sections of the car will be priced separately.
- We will try and keep power connected using an auxiliary battery if requested while we swap your old battery for your new one. This is to avoid loss of power to the Radio (which may have a key-code), the alarm system and onboard electronics etc. If your old battery has gone completely flat or has been disconnected then loss of power may already have taken place. Radio key-codes can often be obtained from the owners manual or via the local dealer.
- The vast majority of battery replacements are quick and easy. However it is impossible to guarantee power will not be lost momentarily during the battery changeover, regardless of who changes the battery. On some vehicles you may need to visit your dealer if this happens. Please consult your vehicles owners manual if in doubt. We will not be responsible for any costs arising from such power loss, and as mentioned a faulty or flat battery may in any case have created a loss of power to the vehicle prior to changing the battery.
